Terms of Service

By accessing or using nhakaCPD, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including practitioners, CPD providers, council administrators, and visitors.

nhakaCPD is a continuing professional development platform operated for Zimbabwe's health professional councils under the Health Professions Authority (HPA). The platform enables practitioners to complete CPD activities, providers to deliver accredited courses, and councils to manage compliance tracking.

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must not share your account or allow others to access it.
• You must promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account.
• Professional registration details (e.g., MDPCZ/NCZ registration number) must match your official council records.

• CPD points earned through nhakaCPD are subject to verification and approval by your registered health professional council.
• Certificates are issued upon successful completion of courses as determined by the course requirements (including passing quizzes where applicable).
• nhakaCPD does not guarantee that CPD points earned on the platform will satisfy all of your council's requirements. Check with your council for specific rules.
• Certificates include QR verification codes and are verifiable through the platform.

If you register as a CPD provider, you additionally agree to:

• Submit accurate information in your accreditation application.
• Deliver course content that meets the standards set by the relevant health professional council.
• Not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Maintain the quality and accuracy of your course materials.
• Accept that courses are subject to review and approval by council administrators before publication.

• Course prices are set by providers and displayed in USD. Payment is processed through supported gateways (Paynow, EcoCash, OneMoney, bank transfer).
• All payments are final once a course has been accessed. Refund requests for courses not yet started may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• nhakaCPD is not responsible for payment processing errors caused by third-party payment providers.

You must not:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false CPD claims or fraudulent documentation.
• Impersonate another practitioner or use another person's registration credentials.
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access data belonging to other users.
• Share course content or certificates with unregistered individuals.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.

Course content, platform design, and the nhakaCPD brand are protected by intellectual property laws. Course materials are owned by their respective providers and licensed for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without written permission.

nhakaCPD is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical errors.
• Decisions made by health professional councils regarding your registration or CPD compliance based on platform data.
• The accuracy or quality of third-party course content.
• Loss arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if directed by your health professional council. Your CPD records will be retained in accordance with regulatory requirements even after account termination.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of nhakaCPD after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from the use of nhakaCPD shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
